First Homecoming Meeting for Student Organizations

Attend the meeting and find out what’s going on for events this year. Deadlines will be announced, questions will be answered and the excitement will begin- If you or anyone for your organization can not make the meeting, Call the Programs Office at 486-3423—Don’t miss your chance to be a part of the campus spirit!

Vote for the Royalty King & Queen candidates online and help determine who will become the 2007 Homecoming King and Queen! (Voting is open to UConn students only).

Homecoming Banners on Display
Student Union
The artistic creativity will flourish in the Student Union North & South Lobby where the Homecoming banners will be on display, representing the student organizations and the homecoming theme. Winner of the banner competition will be announced at the Royalty Pageant on October 17.

Annual Homecoming Parade

Over the past 27 years, the Homecoming Parade has become the most exciting event of the entire year. This year the parade will kick off Homecoming Week and will feature student organization floats, marching units, the UConn Marching Band, and many other exciting sights.

The top 5 King & top 5 Queen Homecoming candidates will be competing for the title of Homecoming 2007 King & Queen! Cheer on your peers as they compete in four categories: costume, campus question, evening wear, and performance. Who will take home the crown? You have to be there to find out! The top performance groups will also compete in the Alma Mater Sing, and winners of the annual banner contest will also be announced.

What creates more spirit than a Homecoming Football Game? Watch the UConn Huskies take on Louisville, hear the winners of the Alma Mater competition perform at the pre game show, and be introduced to your 2007 Homecoming Royalty Court at halftime.

Come and show us your Husky Pride! Be creative – paint up for the Husky Roadshow! Display your school spirit in the most creative way for the Homecoming game.
