Student Union Theatre Advertising

Follow these easy steps:

  • Step 1: Review the SU Theatre Advertising Rules (right column)
  • Step 2: Use our PowerPoint template to create your ad
  • Step 3: Save the ad to your computer
  • Step 4: Email the ad to Anna Milot with the following information:
    • Your Name
    • Name of Organization
    • Phone Number
    • Dates to run ad
    • Describe your ad and it's purpose
Advertising Rules

  • Advertisements will run before each movie.
    Movies are shown Thursday - Sunday in a given week
  • Advertisements must be submitted two weeks prior to their running date.
  • Theatre slides must be advertising an event or service.
  • Your organization must be a recognized UConn organization
  • All events advertised must be registered with the Student Union Reservation Office (486-3421)
  • You may only run an ad for two consecutive weeks. (Exceptions may be made on an individual basis.)
  • You are allowed ONE slide per event or service. You may not submit slides with duplicate information and a different layout.
  • SUBOG is not responsible for changing content after it is given to us.
  • SUBOG can reject advertisements.
  • SUBOG will not be held liable for misuse of copyrighted images.
  • Advertisements that fail to run properly will be handled on an individual basis.
  • Advertisements must be done using the PPT template
  • Direct questions to Anna Milot
